Time is 12 PM , we friend look each other, were will go for the food expedition. Among us the chootta wala (small person) told to go for Sehiyon @ pullepadi (hotel located near to pullepadi bridge) . We started our trip in our bikes. We four reached at sehiyon @ 1 PM. Its an old Hotel without any High class facility. If you want to enjoy the nostalgia of hotel in 90's then you can choose this one. We Ordered normal meals. Even the normal meal is a special thing at there. Pickle, special type of side dishes make it more tasty.

This hotel is famous for different type of fish dishes. I ordered on pollicha avoli ( boiled fish named Avoli). Others ordered prawns, small fish fry (kozhuva fry), sravu carry, neymeen curry, Meen mutta roast etc.....

See the boiled fish with masala s....It covered with banana leaves. And its special smell make it taste better...Other special dish is the MEEN MUTTA Roast (Fish egg roast) .. Its taste is awesome. You people have to taste it.... :) 

Had a wonderful lunch and after paying the bill we came back..

After the visit to  CST and nearby area today we went to South Mumbai. As you all knows that its situated in the banks of a beautiful Arabian sea.

Me and my friends caught a cab and reached there in the afternoon. Gate way of India is a monument built during British ruling period.  

It has 26m Height and it Situated at the end of the Shattrapati Shivaji Marg, which ends at the sea shore.Its a Basalt Arch.I don't know much about its history but the crowds are there is huge in size. Some of them are walking through the footpath where hundreds of pigeons were sitting.Some others are feeding these pigeons.

The Road towards this place were clear and neat. Other Parts of Mumbai also have to Maintain like this.  :)

All the Buildings near to this area have a peculiar type of architectural beauty. 

After seeing the Gateway of India we Just walked near to The TAJ Hotel side. Its an Old building and its architecture were amazing.TATA group is the owner for this Hotel.Its a Pride location for TATA group and Taj Group of Hotels.

We just walked on the nearby area of Taj Hotel and then gone to the end of that footpath at the corner.Some Marriage function were going on during that time. We just watched the things that happening at there. 

Another thing I noticed is the horse riders and some horse cabs. They are decorated well and looks like the carts that used in the age of mughal Rajas. Some people were posing near these horse carts for photos.

Many Foreign s were roaming around these area. Me and my friend were enjoyed these location and its scenes. The monuments at these locations are really amazing and overall the area is good to see ....

Its 7 PM time to go back home..

Navy Feast, Cochin - Kerala

A gloomy sunday I was planning to visit the navy fest held at cochin shipyard....  Now the time is 10 20 AM still on bed with a lazy feelings......  Anyway friends will come at 12. Keeping all my laziness aside i wake from my bed. Now its the time to get ready.

Finally I was ready for the new exploration of navy fest... Hehe  :) . 

My friends came @ 12 30 and we started our journey to Willington Island ... We gone with 3 bikes @ 6 people... One the way at M G Road he had our Lunch @ food was not that much good but its ok.....  after that we started our journey and @ 2 30 PM we reached willington Island Navy fest entrance area.. We parked our bikes at parking area and

taken the pass to get inside.....  May be due to the closing day the crowd are more dense.

We just walked to the stalls and the ships. I was so excited by seeing the facilities and equipments that are present in the ships.  Because for a normal civilian like me will be seeing all these during these types of shows/exhibitions only.

In general navy fest gives a general awareness to all people to some extent and people like us will understand whats happening or what's the functions of our Naval officers.

In the evening there was an closing ceremony conducted by the naval base team was so exciting.... Program lead by Ranjini Haridas famous TV shows anchor. Lot of celebrities were present @ the closing ceremony function. I was taken some snaps of then... See it..

Technopark Visit Part 2

Hi Friend ,  

Let me continue, I would like to share  my observations @ technopark Campus....  As I mentioned in my previous post lot of applicants came here at technopark campus to write the entrance exam. Relatives and friends of the job seekers are waiting out side the exam building. I was also waiting for my friend...    

Many people were sitting near to the restaurant area and I was also sitting near to that... Some of them are walking here are there and some others are spending time on phones by talking to someone else....

Some others are looking into the contraction area of the upcoming campus.....

Some others came with their children and making fun with them.....  One man with a bady was walking just in frond of me.... He was eagerly trying to keep the baby calm...  

I sat on the concrete wall on the side of the road. Its looks good through my Camera.

Some others were sleeping and sitting in car....

Technopark Visit - Part 1

Hi Friends, 

We went to Technopark Trivandrum the Major IT hub of Kerala,India on last week. The aim of our journey was to attend one exam held @ technopark campus. It was a sunday and we were thinking that there were no much traffic on the road. But the situation was different....  Road was too congested with lot of vehicles and several traffic jams as well...  Finally we went the destination point and i parked my Car near to the beautiful road inside the Campus.


As in the Photo, the Roads inside the campus were excellent and best place for chit chat for friends.....

The ambiance in side the campus was marvels.. Lot of trees on both sides of the road and I made some clicks around to capture the beauty of that location..................  :) 

Another thing i noticed is the street lights on one side of the road. It gives the road more beauty. I tried to collect its details on my photo..

Its looks good right !!!

See the large trees near to the office area. By seeing this good environment I am little jealous about the employs in that office.. 

I parked my Car just beneath of a big tree shown in the pic..

Next time I will tell u more stories that happened on the same day.......

Chenganasseri Alappuzha Trip

Hi friend today for attending my relatives marriage I got an opportunity to visit alappuzha (alleppy). Here I like to discuss about  the road from chenganaseery to alappuzha.

After hearing this you might be think what is the special of this road. This road goes through an area were the amsl is 0 m . Both sidek of this road is covered with waterbodies and pady field.

We traveled in a tempo traveler and the side glasses allowed me to capture all the scenes around me.

I took lot of snaps during my journey. Some places there were bridge to connect the main road and the side land areas. some other places small and large bridges were built to have smooth journey.

Nearly 15 to 20 years ago there were no bridges.People even vehicles were transported to other land by the jangars. Jagar is large boat that can carry vehicles and large number of people.

During my ashtamudi lake travel same type of jangars photos were captured.

The beauty of pady fields cant explain in few words. I have uploaded more photos of those pady fields. Some farmers were standing at the center of the field. They were wearing hats that were made up with palm leaves.

during my journey another thing I noticed is the duck selling shops. Lot of small ducks are locked with nets on both sides of the road. Some people were stopped near to these shops and bargaining with the shop owners for buying the ducks.

These views make me more fun to journey. After crossing pulinkunnu and nedumudi were saw a place were house boats are gathered. It was a House boat stand.. Most of the celebrities in Malayalam film industry have house boat as their own.

Any way this was a nice trip. Small Boats, house boats, green paddy fields, traditional farmers, bridges etc made my trip more amazing....

Mumbai CST and Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sangrahalaya

This year March I have gone to Mumbai to meet my friend. I caught my Flight from Chennai and reached Mumbai @ 6.30 PM. It was jet airways flight and their service were good. I collected my luggage and tried to catch a taxi. Normally its too difficult to get taxi from there. Fortunately I got a pre paid taxi from there. I taken the coupon upto Vashi.

The Cab was a black coloured with a yellow strip around it. The experience in the cab is interesting !!!!     I like that......  

I reached my friends apartments by 9.30 AM . Fresh up in a hour and had breakfast...  

Me my friend Jijo went to the nearest railway station to catch train to CST. As you know the Train services are the vain of the Mumbai city. If Train stops I think Mumbai will stop...

you can't imagine the crowd at railway station. That much crowd at all the stations.

We took ticket upto CST and finally we reached Chatrapati Shivaji Terminal, you can see the Image of the terminal. Its looks like an old palace. It was build during the British East India Company period. Before Indian Independence. 

I took a snap of the cab also. On another cab we gone to a hotel Named Gulshan E Iran.
It was max 5 to 10 mins from CST railway station.

You can see the pic of Gulshan E Iran hotel. If you get a chance to go Mumbai u must go to this hotel..  The food were really tasty and delicious....

Now its the time to visit the Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaja Vastu Sangrahalaya. Its a museum with lot of precious and old ornaments/military equipments/signs of old Mharajas etc...


On the way I tried to take some more snaps...

Streets of Mumbai.. Even though its a huge city it maintained well and tried to keep it up....

At last we reached Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sangrahalaya. I took a photo of its entrance area..

Its well protected and its necessary considering today's situations...

Thanks to its authorities to keep these monuments well and clear..

Its for our future generations.
