Volvo Bus Journey to Trivandrum
Today I got an opportunity to start my journey from Vytilla Mobility Hub, Ernakulam to Trivandrum. Nowadays Cochin is in a path of wind of change.......Vytilla Mobility Hub is a recent face of Cochin. Hub is well maintained, I think its the only one KSRTC (Kerala State Road Transport Corporation) bus-stand that is maintained in such a quality, in Kerala. Some lady staffs were standing with cleaning mops and waste pans to remove the wastes immediately.
I was looking for a long time to catch a bus. I sat on a chair and kept the luggage aside to me. Started listening music on my iphone.. After waiting some time, one superfast bus approching towards the bus-stand and by seeing the bus, crowds rushed to the bus. They ran near to the bus and covered the entrance . I took my luggage and tried to get in the bus , but all my efforts were in vain. I came back to the seat, continued listening music...
After 10-15mins one volvo bus struck on my view. I just walked near to that. Crowd didn't notice the volvo bus arrived the stand (usually its services are limited to local area and it was not used for long distant traveling....). Some people identified the destination of the bus and tried to get in. I ran fast and some how got into the bus. Picture of the bus given below. :)
Bus was really good and A/C inside the bus kept me more comfortable....
I took ticket to Trivandrum and stand at the back side of the bus . Charges were double than the normal superfast charges. but its fine..
I think the seats for this buses are designed for short distance travelling not for long distance travel.
All the seats were fully occupied and I was standing upto Allepy. I got one friend during the trip and thats makes me talkative upto Kayamkulam (he get down at there).
Finally at 11PM I reached Trivandrum KSRTC Stand....
It was a good journey .............
